Topic Title: HSBC Held Payments, Charged Late Fee

LA in North Carolina said "I have good reason to believe that HSBC held onto my payments repeatedly and posted them after the due date so that they could charge me late fees. I transferred my balance to another card hoping to part ways with HSBC; however, they managed to get one more late charge in that I felt was completely bogus. I sent evidence of this in a complaint to HSBC, as well as Yamaha, the Better Business Bureau, and the store where I purchased the scooter. HSBC responded by saying they would do nothing to rectify the situation and that I still owed the full balance (a $39.00 late charge plus interest to the tune of $52.85). I have sent that payment in to avoid damage to my credit rating, but I am so angry that I want to find a way to do something about this injustice."
