JJ in North Carolina sent us a copy of this alarming email: "I recently learned that I have a balance of $1,469 with your company. I never signed up with your bank and have no idea how this happened. I would like to see some type of documentation showing where I gave HSBC permission to withhold such information. I would also like copies of all purchases made using this account number. Please understand that this is of high importance and need to be addressed ASAP."
